The best-looking renovations have one thing in common: the electrics were decided before the walls were closed up. Where the sockets sit on the island. Which lights dim. Where the TV goes. Whether the extractor and hob have their own supply. Moving any of that after plastering costs time and money.

How we fit in

First fix happens after strip-out and before plastering: cables, back boxes and new circuits. Second fix comes after decoration: sockets, switches, fittings and connecting appliances. We agree the dates with your builder or fitter up front.

Kitchens

Cooker and hob circuits, appliance supplies, island power, under-cabinet and plinth lighting, pendants and downlights.

Extensions and loft conversions

New circuits, lighting and power, including wiring for loft conversions, and a check that the fuse board has the capacity for what you're adding.

Heating, boilers, heat pumps and air conditioning

We do the electrical side: wiring for boilers, heating systems, ground-source heat pumps and air conditioning units, working alongside your heating or AC installer.

What customers say

From people who've had us in.

We had a full rewire done on an old property, and I was dreading the mess and disruption. John made the whole process smooth, kept us informed, and worked around us to minimise the impact. Absolutely brilliant service!

Questions

Kitchens, extensions and lofts: common questions

When should I book the electrician for a renovation?

When the builder books the plasterer. First fix has to happen before plastering, so we need to be in the programme from the start.

Can you work with my builder or kitchen fitter?

Yes. That's normal for us. We agree the dates and the plan with them, and you get one clear quote for the electrical work. Builders and fitters can find more on our trade page.

Do you fit heat pumps or air conditioning?

We do the electrical side: the supply and wiring for boilers, heating systems, ground-source heat pumps and air conditioning units. The unit itself is installed by your heating or AC installer.

Will my fuse board cope with an extension?

We check. If it doesn't have the capacity or the protection needed, we'll tell you and include it in the quote.
